Format:  Any Port in the Storm - Individual Stroke Play

Winter rules apply!  There will be three holes cut on every green, the flag will be placed at the center-most hole.  Each player can use any hole on the green at any point, you do not have to declare which hole you intend on using.  

Due to format, scores will not be posted to GHIN by the Club after the round.

100% of Course Handicap will be used from your selected 2025 MGA Tees.  

 

Individual Skins: $20

Must be paid to MGA Venmo before teeing off. 

You will be asked on the first tee to confirm that you are IN for skins!

 

Tournament Fee: $30

Billed to Member account, plus any applicable cart fees, unless otherwise specified by the Member.  Please check in to the Golf Shop before the round if you do not want this fee Member Charged. 

$25 goes towards payouts, $5 towards the keg at the end of the round. 

 

2025 President's Trophy Points will be awarded 

Format:  Two-Man Scramble

Typical scramble rules apply.  To register with a partner, please use the portal.  Single registrants will be paired with a similar handicap player.

Due to format, scores will not be posted to GHIN by the Club after the round.

35% of Player A + 15% of Player B will be combined to determine the Team Course Handicap.  Play from your selected 2024 MGA Tees.

This invite is for golf only.  An additional invite will be sent out tomorrow for the Kick-Off Party & Meeting that will take place after play.  If you plan on playing and attending the Kick Off, please register for both!!

Open to all MGA Members

Format:  Cha Cha Cha

On Hole 1, the best ball of the foursome is counted.  One Hole 2, the 2 best balls of the foursome is counted.  On Hole 3, the 3 best balls of the foursome is counted.  This process then repeats until the round is finished.  

Play out your own ball!

Team Match Play Event (Ryder Cup style)

 

Qualification Fee $50 - to be used for expenses: team uniforms, food and other expenses.

All Individual Stroke Play events will be considered as qualifying events as well as all rounds for the Men's Club Championship.  For Black Bear Members, if there is an Individual Stroke Play at Blackstone, there will be a concurrent flight held at Black Bear.  

 

All MGA Members will be billed for the qualification fee unless they opt out before the first Pinnacle Cup Qualifier on May 3rd! To opt out, simply select not playing for this event.

Three 9 Hole Match Play Matches at Black Bear
Two 9 Hole Match Play Matches at Blackstone
Entry Fee: $75
2025 President's Trophy points will be awarded.

• All Players will be grouped into six player flights based on handicap
• Each player will play a 9 hole match vs every other player in their flight
• Based on the number of flights, there will be a playoff on Sunday for the final spot(s) to get to a bracket of 16. The playoff will be with TBD flight winners and ties that won their flight by the fewest aggregate points.
• Strokes will be based on the difference between the two players course handicaps from the tees played
• Points structure: Each hole won = 1 point, Each hole lost = -1 point
• Each halved hole = 0 points
• The winner of the match receives 1 bonus point
• A tied match, each player receives ½ point
