Due to past issues, caddies are not allowed in MGA events.  In team events, team members may give advice.

 

Other members of your group may not give advice in accordance with USGA rules.

 

In Match Play events, caddies are not allowed.  Normal USGA match play rules apply where the players in the match can agree on how play should proceed.

 

Spectators:

We understand for certain events, friends and spectators may wish to observe.  For MGA events, we strive to ensure that the competitors are never at a disadvantage.  If you have people who wish to come and watch your play, please ensure they do the folllowing:

 

1. Spectators need to stay on cart paths from tee to green
2. Around the green, spectators need to be well off the green and never in the line of play of a competitor
3. Spectators must be respectful of competitors and not cause any distraction.  This includes talking, playing music, etc.
4. If any competitor feels the spectators are a distraction, they have the right to request them to leave.  This should be done by calling the Pro Shop and asking to have a member of the staff come and talk to the spectators.  We do not want or expect the competitor to engage with spectators.
